1)Does the constitution provide an efficient and realistic balance between national and state power? I would say sort of because Amendment 10 says something along the lines of if it is not given directly to the national government it is handed down to the states or the people.
I think.
2)Are individual liberties adequately protected in the constitution? Well Amendment 1, 2, and the one that is the search warrant one protect the rights of individuals. Also the fair trial and no double jeopardy.
3) Are Americans participating enough in our democratic system> Do citizens have the understanding of our government processes to be heard and to make a difference? I do not belive that most American citizens participate or have enough knowledge to participate.
4) Doe the evolving constitutional system, including political parties and interest groups, strengthen fair and effective representation of the people? Well, the political groups are evolving with the peoples ideas and belifes for the most part. So i would say yes.
I hope i helped at least a little bit. |
