School:School's been going great so far. I like all of my classes and I'm fortunate enough to have at least one or two of my close friends in each one. It's a little too early to know my actual grades, but I haven't missed any major assignments or tests, so hopefully they're are all in the A-B range. I switched out of AP Environmental Science on Friday. It was just too much work that I didn't want to do, and since I already have all my science credits, I really saw no reason to be in there. I switched into 3D Animation with my old Web Design teacher, so that should be fun, though, unfortunately, I'm only going to have it for one semester, with me switching into Algebra II for the second semester. This is because I failed a semester of Algebra II in my sophomore year, which I still haven't made up. Regardless, I'm feeling much more confident about my academic performance this year, and I'll hopefully maintain at least a 3.0 throughout the year. Sports:I've never really been much of a sports player, but just recently, however, I was hired to film the freshman football games from the press box. Although my first day on the job was a little sketchy, I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I get paid $10/hour and I get to leave school early on days when we're not playing at home, so that's pretty cool. Social:In comparison to the other aspects of my year, social has definitely been the best. I've been hanging out with old and new friends more than ever, and It's been a blast. We've been going to parties, football games, and just last night we all went down to the beach. I'm currently talking with this cute chick in my government class, so hopefully I'll have a date for the homecoming dance. All in all it's been a great year so far, and I'm hoping for it to get even better.
