lolz callous is an idiot!

and to shmads, yeah it has a lot to do with the hero's journey. i did this last year. there's like 5 parts of the hero's journey that are the archetypes of it.

1) the hero discovers how he is special: either a quality or power
2) the hero is set a task where they travel to unfamiliar territory whether literal or figurative (journey to another world)
3) the hero is given guidance by someone with greater knowledge and wisdom than their self
4) They lose something: powers or something/someone close to him/her
5) Finally the hero is born anew again with a new image and name for him/herself.

that's the most of what i remember. and by chance you wouldn't happen to be reading Lord of the Files by William Golding this year?
