do the opposite of last time and move y to one side
x=15.25-y
use that in place of x in original problem
4(15.25-y)-2+3y-1=180
solve
61-4y+3y=183
61-y=183
add-61 to both sides
-y=122
multiply each side by -1
y=-122
check work
plug in values for each variable to original problem
4(135.25)-2+3(-122)-1=180
solve
541-2-366-1=180
