i got to put oxidation numbers for these stupid compounds can someone tell me how to find oxidation numbers- please no links to some where else. here are some examples of compounds i need oxidation numbers for
[]= superscript(small number on top)
()= subscript(small number in bottom) idk no if im right with what those are called i just call them small numbers anyway.

2.N[-3]
3.N(2)O(3)
4.KNO(3)
5.NH(4)NO(3)
6.K(2)Cr(2)O(7)
7.CO[-2](3)
8.NH[+1](4)
