Come, relax, and listen to the injustice that I call school.


I go to a small private school. It is a fundamentalist Christian school. Ok no biggie. We have to wear uniforms, not unusual, your choices are blue slacks/skirts and a white or blue shirt. Not bad. Your hair can't be over your ears or give the appearance of being "long".

Some of my most recent detentions include atrocities such as "chewing gum in class", "bridling of the tongue", "laughing too loudly", oh and my favorite, "not having my laces tied". So that tells you just a little bit of how stupid the faculty is.
Now lets give you some expulsion history.


The last 5 years we have had 20 people expelled. 19 outside of school related.


Lets just list some reasons why, from oldest to most recent.

Being at a party where there was alcohol, being with kids that were smoking cigs, getting in a fight in a public mall, heard cursing at a public mall, alleged drug use outside of school, another one for being told on that she was having sex. Ok so thats just a few things.


Lets go over the expulsions just this year. One was for having a myspace, YES, my school doesn't allow myspaces, they say that they are a sinful site and outlets for pedophiles and sinners alike. Another one was for having a picture of herself on her facebook(Which we're aloud) and she was holding a beer can. It was photoshopped because she was at a costume party and dressed like a redneck. Haha. Another one was for skipping class for 2 hours. ONCE. Another one was for being accused of doing drugs, when I know for a fact the kid doesn't, and the one that told on him doesn't like him because he's going out with his "love". Pathetic kid who has never gotten more than a hug from "mommy". Now this is where it hits my class. The last ones that I have noticed were SENIORS. 4 months before they graduate.


My one friend got expelled for having a myspace, and he cursed on someone elses, called him a fucktard or something. He was one of my good friends.
My other friend that I've known since Kindergarten got kicked out because someone told on him. His girlfriend is pregnant. She is in our grade as well and was shortly kicked out after being found out. Now this is where I get hit with some "Christian" justice....leading to a 5 day in-school suspension.


So heres the story....

A random person has been harrassing me on aim for around a month. I don't know who this person is but they keep changing AIM names and telling me to fuck off and and stuff...just totally random. So this one girl that I went out with for almost a year, she's one of my good friends, I had been telling her about this guy and sending her the texts that he was sending me(My phone is direct linked to my IM so I can text other people at school). So one morning he texted me again and said "f*** you c*nt. Alright, I type it back to her and send it to her. She read it and knew what I was talking about so she didn't care. So how am I going to get in trouble for this you ask? You'll see my friends.


The next period she gives her phone to a girl so she can text her boyfriend in Algebra....I didn't realize this at the time. So eventually she gets caught texting and the nosy teacher takes the phone away from her. I then ended up texting my friend, thinking she had a phone. So the teacher saw the text from me(That's right, she looked in the students text messages, invasion of privacy maybe? Ya, I think so) So she see's the text saying hey, whatsup. But she HAS to know if I said anything else, so she goes through my friends some 200 text messages and manages to find the one from me with the "filthy" words that "shocked" her to her core. Direct quote, by the way. So she tells the principal, blah blah blah I get called in I tell them what happened, of course, they don't believe me. Tell me I'm a complete idiot and lying just like everyone else does in my opinion.


By now I'm getting somewhat infuriated at there lack of respect for my honesty. I've always been straight forward with them so they really have no reason to denie me there trust. I told them, "Alright, lets call my friend in right now, BEFORE I get the chance to talk to her, and see if our stories match up". So they take me out of the room and bring her in. Call me back in and tell me our stories match up perfectly. OF COURSE THEY DO. Its the truth. They tell me they are no longer thinking expulsion but there will be a stiff punishment.


So, ladies and gentlemen, thats my reason for a 5 day suspension?

Just? I'm afraid I've lost the meaning of that word, as have they.

If anyone can top the craziness of my school I encourage you to. But I think it highly unlikely.
