| How to put games on my calculator? :
02-02-2008
I really didn't know where to put this so I just put it in Calculus because it looks like calcultor.
Anyways, I just got a TI-84 calculator and was wondering if anybody knew how to put games on it.
Well, I sort of already know kinda but when I'm trying to send the program ION to the calculator's RAM it says something like "we cannot send this right now try again." |

Remember that your games will be deleted whenever the memory is cleared...our school makes us do that before a test... |

Use the USB cable and plug it into your computer. There may be some games on the official Texas Instruments site. If you know anybody who has them, connect the two calculators with the USB and then there should be some options for file transferring. I have the basic Block dude and Pegs. I only play games when I'm done with a test.
I recommend that you don't add games, they are just another distraction in the world. But if you really want them...
Make sure your calculator is up to date. There may be a patch or something to download the third party games.

I'm a noob about computer stuff but would any USB cable work? Or do I have to go buy something... I don't think my calc came with one or I lost it. |
