Like what kind of surroundings do you have to have? Do you listen to music, write it in a special place?
I sometimes like to listen to music but sometimes not it depends on the type of paper I am writing. I also like to write now that I got a laptop on the toilet. I dont know why I just do.

I can't have anything going on around me when I'm trying to do a paper. Anything and everything will distract me, whether it be music, TV, Internet, whatever. |

It has to be absolutely last minute, I have to have my internet up and running, talking to people on AIM, listening to some rock, and drinking some Iced Tea or Protein Shake. |

I'm probably going to say with music. My dad always yells at me for doing work while I have music on, because he's a stubborn person, and he believes it messes me up. He then yells at me when I get a bad grade on a paper because it's sloppy, or it has errors.

I listen to music, but sometimes it can be distracting. If I get into the groove of things and I'm not listening to music, I'll keep it that way. When I do listen to music I'll listen to something with few or no lyrics; sometimes I'll break away with some Zeppelin or something though.
