Only the documents in the English folder have been turned in for grading. Everything else was for myself or publication. StoryTime with NiceGuy started out as a thread on H2F for me to tell stories.

How can you hate poetry?
It is often beautiful.
But yes it can be boring.
Try reading up on Seamus Heaney. An Irish poet writing about the problems in Ireland during the IRA era. Excellent works. |

I hate poetry. I understand the artistic flow of words and the structure and composition, but I don't feel that prose has to lack that. Poetry, in my opinion, is nothing more than chopped up prose. I don't enjoy having to interpret your work; I don't enjoy that no matter how well I interpret it, it can be interpretted in another manner or that I still never understand fully what it was that inspired you because such would be impossible. I like understanding what I read, it's important to.

Sometimes, I see poetry as something in which it becomes more an exercise of decifering rather than something enjoyable, something which is what it is.
