NG I hope to dominate this Sub-forum with you and I call dibs on poetry help | Often times people make the mistake of thinking that lines that could be used by themselves as poetic phrases are absent from prose, which is simply untrue. Poetry, in no way, is absent from prose composition; it's subtle, yet striking; used in conclusions, introductions, and important prophetic or enlightening phrases. Turns of phrase, for example, exist in both poetic lines and prose sentence.
I think I'll enjoy this forum, very much.

Niceguy, if you dont mind, id enjoy helping out with you. I love writing novels and stories of any length. Prose are something I enjoy too. Unfortunately, I dont have my works saved on here because I delete all my stuff I do during the school year.

I made a small compilation of some of my work. Some of it's good, some of it leaves me under whelmed. Sorry, but nothing from my novel will be shared, though I can confidently contend that it's the masterpiece of my career to this point. I also have another short story, unfinished, about love. | The essay on Siddhartha was very well done, interesting comparisons as well. It's an excellent book too, really had me thinking. |

I picked it up because my teacher compared some of my fiction and the insight into "Self" in my novel to Hesse. So I read it, and whadaya know.
Thank you for the compliment. I received an A.
