My school starts with acoustic. I was a band geek so I already know all the note names and rhythms and stuff.

I was going to take a guitar lessons class. I have always wanted to learn to play the guitar but I just couldn't fit it into the schedule. |

Not because i couldnt play, i was better than any one else in the school, but i could not read music.

That was 4 years ago. I can read music now, but i dont care for it at all. I never learn a song by looking a music sheets. |

My friend wants to change schools so he can take a guitar class. I used to love playing guitar, I was in band and we did some shows, but I just kinda lost interest. It was fun, but I have alternative interests now. |

Yeah, I love playing guitar, but I don't read music either.
It's just too hard, and I don't learn me sum sheet muzic because I know that it won't be my profession.... Cause I'm really bad.

Really you do not need to read music to excell at guitar.
But if you wish to become an all around talented musician, branching it to the more classical instruments, or the piano, reading music is the way to go.
But to go far playing guitar, you neither have to be able to read music, or be good at the instrument (see "Blink-182") |
