You actually save even more energy by unplugging your appliances even when they are off. If I remember correctly I think they still use 30-40% electricity consumption when they're off compared to when they're on.

An Inconvenient Truth was made by Al Gore, and has democratic bias. To learn THE TRUTH about global warming, watch American Idol instead.

i also watched a thing on Affluenza and that seems more important than global warming.
it effects our economy directly and needs to get out and be heard.

Basically the same thing except I don't have to take the cord out. |

i think we should take precautions, cause whats wrong with cleaning up the enviornment? there are no downsides to precaution. i mean one day we will run out of gas. it will happen

I'm all for keeping the environment clean. I even rode my bike to soccer today instead of driving. But if people get too nature-psycho then nobody will listen. I mean, we have no proof that we are causing global warming. Yes, try to drive less, trade in that SUV for a smaller car, and clean up the environment, but keep it real.

we have proof, actually. and global warming doesnt mean the globe as a whole warms up. some parts will heat up way more then others. the heating is not even. and even if there wasnt global warming, the precautions should still be taken. there is not reason why they shouldnt be.
