We have been studying this in my chem class, and its really pretty interesting. I think this is a serious topic that most people arent taking serious. Here in Southern California, it will be in the high 90's, and the next day it will be raining. Its unheard of out here. We recently watched Al Gore's An Inconvient Truth, and he has many good points. I think more and more people are starting to realize the scary reality of Global Warming, and are trying to do more about it, but very slowly. The United States government has done very little, with some states trying to make progress, such as California, with smog checks, and states in the North East. The United States government will eventually have to do something about this, because there are alot of solutions and ideas to prevent global warming from getting worse. But as long as Bush is putting money in his bank account, he wont do a damn thing about it. Im not a tree hugger or anything, but i do think thisproblem needs to be addressed.

I want your opinion on this, what you think about it, and if you think it is manmade or just a natural cycle.

I think pollution is a problem, but I don't believe in global warming. In Indiana, last year is was already hot in early April. This year, we just had our first really hot day on the 26th. Before then its been freezing. And, actually, today it's been a little cold as well.

I actually just picked up a job as an Environmental Scientist. My area of study is actually regarding drinking water and nonpotable water. We have discussions like this all the time. I want to see what you guys say before I give my 2 Cents.

I think Global Warming is a real big problem, were not really doing anything to prevent it but I think It's going to be a big topic in the election this year

call me ignorant but i fail to see the truth in global warming.
i think its just another made up thing to make money for some big wigs like A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. non of them exist.

I dunno if it's true or if it's just a cycle. Alotta people are saying it's cause of carbon emissions but then again, we didn't cause the Ice Age. Still I choose to switch off tv's and such at night just incase. Plus it saves on electricity, some appliances chew up alotta power in standby.
