2 years are somewhat mandatory or my school so I suggest just sticking with Spanish just to show off a little

Maybe it won't cut it if he's trying to get into Yale...but for most schools you'll be fine with 3 years of a foreign language. It also depends on what he plans on majoring in.

Haha. Try most UC schools. UCLA, UC Berkeley, so on and so forth.

depends on what else you have to offer you could take 5 years and they might not accept you. but take 4 if you want to otherwise i feel that 3 is enough and if it is bringing ur GPA down don't take it- try to take a class that is differnt something that you havent done cause that could show college ppl some diversity, that you like to try new things.
