| Kid in one of my citys local schools died... :
02-19-2008
Well, I heard this from a few friends today, that a kid from an across town school drowned over the weekend. Apparently he and a few friends were on their way back from Arizona and their plane was delayed in some other state along the way, and they stayed over night at the hotel. Well I guess he and the friends he was with (no parents present) had been drinking and they left this kid alone for a while; when they came back, he was at the bottom of the pool...dead.
One of the kids he was with is an old friend of mine that used to play on my soccer team as well. Here's the article from our newspaper about it.
It seems people at my school and surrounding schools are dieing every year that I've been in high school (3 years) from alcohol or some other reason. Like earlier this year two kids died in a car accident from my school while speeding. Really sad.
Does stuff like this happen at your schools or surrounding schools? Especially alcohol related incidents?

idk. Almost every year someone died at my school. Freshman year some chick died, sophmore year 2 kids I semi knew died, junior year some freshman got drunk with some friends and stole his moms van and went for a joy ride killing his brother. Then when I was a senior we had a bet on who would die in our class, I bet it would be my friend Jake, fourtunetly our class broke the curse!
This year though 2 kids from the school decided to race and both managed to crash(both were full of kids) but no one was killed in that. So that is good. |

so far, since my 7th grade year, every year, a kid or two dies in a year. its usually in a car accident, and last year 4 sophmores died in a car crash. the driver was drunk and they went rolling down the hill. so far, no one has died during the year, but last summer before this year 3 kids died in another car accident. its pretty sad actually

This is really weird... My parents told me (literally 2 hours ago exactly) that a kid who goes to my school died in a car crash right next to my school. When I saw this and clicked on it, I seriously thought to myself "JMK must be posting this..."
I guess since he goes to m school and I kind of knew him, it should be thread-worthy? Yay or nay?
I'm saying nay, since I just posted it.
