We had a huge snowfall this winter season, 100+ inches of snow, and some of that caused us to miss more days than we are allowed so we have to make up days.
Listen to this solution, and tell me if you agree.
We go to school 5 minutes earlier
Go to lunch 2 minutes later
Get out 3 minutes later
and our 4 half days become full days
To me that's sort of a pain because when you go home for lunch 2 min could be the difference between tardy and not.
and 5 minutes earlier means I need to be in my class at 8 !?!?!?
I wish we'd just tack extra days on at the end of the year. So us seniors wouldn't have to come to those

When we had Katrina, we missed 2 and a half months, the only thing they did was make us stay an hour later, wasn't that big of a deal.

That's not very fair. It's not your fault that it snowed. |

For the rest of the semester. I would propose that, it is about the same amount of time until schools out. We went back in late October until December.

Wut?
That's a total of, like, 9 minutes a day.
Doesn't make much difference.

I had that happen one year in Breckenridge. Too much snow, they added a whole week and a half to school. |

It is a big deal
I ususally get to class at 8 03, 2 minutes before the bell rings, under the new system I would be late 90 pct of the time.
and it doesn't seem like a lot but
10 minutes for 40 days = 400 minutes, how much we need to make up
