Find m/T if m/T is 20 more than four times its supplement.
I know a supplement is two angles that form 180* but I'm just too tired to think through this one.

(S * 4) + 20 = T
Is that right? It's late; I'm trying to think. Lol.
GAH. I don't think that's right. I think it's more like (S * 4) + 20 + T = 180, or something.

Ummm..
Try this.
LET Supplement = x
m<T = 4x + 20
x + (4x + 20) = 180
5x + 20 = 180
5x = 160
x = 32
m<T = 4x + 20
= 4 (32) + 20
m<T =148

Supplement doesnt equal x
m<T = x
Supplement of <T= 4x+20
Your formulas were right you just worded what x equaled kinda strangely.

The question says, "m/T is 20 more than four times its supplement."
So if supplement = x, then m<T is 4x + 20.
I didn't do anything wrong lol
If we did it the way you did, then the question would have to say
"if the supplement is 20 more than 4 times m<T."
