You are viewing our Highschool Homework Forum as a guest which gives you limited access to view most discussions. It doesn't matter if you're an A student or not, we know that highschool can be a pain sometimes from all the homework, teachers, school activities, chicks, friends, etc... Just know that there are students just like you at StupidHomework.com
Here at our Homework Forum, you can discuss your classes and assignments, and also seek homework help from any of the forum members. Do you have some tough classes and teachers this year? Need any assistance with some homework and projects? Talk about all of your school-related issues here.

Note: I know one of you is going to get all up in my grill saying you play with Legos, you noob. FYI, I used to play with Legos. Just like 90% of the other kids in America. | I lol'd

It sucks. | Geometry means to measure the earth or earth measure. It is used in real-life all the time. I assume that you are taking plane geometry or what is called Euclidean Geometry. As a per diem teacher, I cannot understand how people can say that geometry is hard or stupid when most people, unless you are a math major, will never have to take Non-Euclidean Geometries. If you think geometric proofs are hard now, I wonder what you would say in a topology or differential geometry course. There is also another special geometry called spherical geometry often used by NASA dealing with space geometry situations. Now, that's hard stuff!!! Here is a website that easily explains geometric proofs: http://mathbits.com/MathBits/Student...tryStudent.htm If, after visiting the website, you are still not sure what to do, send me an e-mail. I can guide you safely through geometric proofs as it is one of my favorite subjects. Keep in mind that when dealing with geometry you must use inductive and deductive reasoning. Also, you cannot make it through proofs without learning the basic postulates and theorems. There's no easy way out of it! mathman |
