We have been doing proofs for about 6 weeks. I cant stand them. They started of easy but now they are getting hard and its getting confusing. Like there are so many of them theres like Converse Of Alt. Ext. Angles Theorem. Like its hard and math is normally my best subject but this year i only have a B. It sucks.

The trick to proofs is to learn the very basic ones (alternate exterior angles, and such) very well. Then, you can easily derive others (alternate interior angles, inverses of the two, etc). Drawings pictures also helps.
Edit: Check out this thread also: Postulates and Theorems
Amazing. |

Yea i was just looking at that.
Does anyone know how to figure out grades, maybe someone can help. I had an 82.4% in my Geo class then i got 28/50 (56%) on a quiz. Quizzes are 20% of our grade so does anyone know how to figure that out?

I had the same problem when I took that last year. For me, I never get it when teachers tell me, so I just ask a smart friend to explain it and he can get me to understand it within a few minutes where it takes the teacher a few weeks.
Ask your friends or if you have extra time, go in and get help, it never hurts.

Basically say you have an 80% in Quizzes which are worth 20% of your grade, 100% in test which comprise 80% of your grade. Follow this calculation.
Quizzes - 80% x .2 = 16%
Tests - 100% x .8 = 80%
So basically take whatever percent you have in each category, and multiply it by the amount that it is worth. So the Quiz is worth 20% of your grade then, multiply your grade by .2 and you get the amount out of a hundred percent. |

Most of the theorems u will learn make logical sense...You just need to learn to organize your thoughts. |

I was about to say Epic bump Shmads.
Basically it comes down to this, if you like Legos, then Geometry dominates, if you don't like Legos, then you're gay.
Note: I know one of you is going to get all up in my grill saying you play with Legos, you noob. FYI, I used to play with Legos. Just like 90% of the other kids in America. |
