I took Honors Geometry two years ago and it sucked. (HORRIBLE teacher)
I just passed Honors Alg. 2 w/ Trig this year (also with a crappy teacher) and it was pretty simple.
You'll be fine.
Edit: Do the homework or else you will be screwed. |

It's perfectly fine. It's only a hard course if you think it's hard. Mainly graphing, and Sin., Cos., Tan., Cot., Cosecant, and Sec., functions to learn. Alot of identities. |

Everything else is just a good change from all the repetitive "solve for x and y" kind of ideas, or "factor the following:". Geo makes you think differently for each situation. |

Geometry is unlike any of the other "needed" advanced math courses. It helps in some areas, and pretty much screws you up in others. You still deal with algebraic equations but not as much. This strays more into graping and things. You have to memorize a ton of postulates and theorems which you will have to write into proofs. And trust me, that gets really annoying.

Geometry was really easy for me but I really had a bad teacher. We, actaully had to teach her to do something from the Chapter.
Algebra II will be very easy, all you need to do is memorize formulas and plug the unknowns in the forumlas.
Trignometry is very easy, same thing with Algebra II but will have a little review from Geometry.
Algebra I was probably the easiest math course I've ever taken. |
