Default Out of school German : 07-03-2007
Well now that im going to a BRAND NEW school this coming year i would like to keep learning the German language for hopes of moving there one day.

What should i do?

I've taken German 1 twice and had 85-100% in all my times with it. I think im pretty good at it, but a little shaken for not being in a classroom for 7 months now so i barely remember any dialogs.

Should i just not worry aobut it and just look up German words on my own or should i go and get a actual out of school German class to keep funky fresh on it all?

Well I take Russian out of school, since my school doesn't offer it.

I'd say that yeah if you're really into the language you could probably find a tutor or a language school close to you.

Another thing to look into if you want to really know a language and speak fluently is "immersion".

Immersion is a programme many universities and maybe some high schools offer where you are put in a dorm, I guess, and have dinner with your professors. All the while you speak whichever language in which you'd wished to be immersed. You would do everything in that language, or you'd either fail or be kicked out (different places use different methods).
