For my AP Gov't class, I need to select a section from The Constitution (ex. Article II section 3) and write a paper about why it's a great part of The Constitution. This is all pre-amendments.

What do you think I should write about?

Example: I believe the section that says you can impeach a President blah blah blah...

(I don't want to do that one, too easy)

Well, just think about the very crucial parts of the Constitution.

What parts make democracy unique?

Ex. The system of checks and balances...

i do like shmads idea, but you could also talk about how the key points of the constitution (ie checks and balances, creation of standards like roads, post office etc.) and show how they layed the foundation for our great nation.

Article I Section 3:

The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof for six Years; and each Senator shall have one Vote.

You can discuss how this is important because it gives less populated states the same amount of power in the Senate as highly populated states like California and such.
