The big project of my grade 11 physics class was to build a chariot and explain all the forces, what you could have done better on it and all that shit... aswell as race it along our track. (we had a weak axel) our tires bent in and we had to run and carry it the rest of the time ... LOL anyways it was good other then that we did it in like 1 1/2 hours |

We did a "marble" coaster. It had to have a loop, a turn, and some other requirements. We made it out of cardboard and some poster board. Not that hard really. Our classes all had themes to the coasters. Mine was "Coke". Others included Hawaii, Volcanoes, Vegas, and Haunted House. |

yes its not that hard to make the loop bigger as soon as youve made a single loop. some kids actually graduated for doing good in this project. |

My class went to Six Flags as well to find the velocity of the different roller coasters. At the end of the year though we had extra time, as well as our rival school, so we had a cardboard boat racing competition. We calculated how much cardboard we would need, then built it and raced. Not really too much physics, but a fun thing to do and a good suggestion you should tell your teachers about. |

We didn't do any rollar coaster project in grade 8 . It would have been fun though, I'm guessing. |
