| Ahh the good old roller coaster project. :

So the past few days at my 8th grade middle school have been winding down mostly except for science class. My teacher Mr. Bean has assigned our groups a "roller coaster" project that we finished today. Apparently we set a class record for fastest roller coaster in about 12 years or something. I'm just curious to see what youve done to make a roller coaster out of tubing/ball etc. We had to make a loop and two hills to get a passing grade. We got an A- because our loop wasnt quite tall enough at only 35.5cm. Some people in our class went up to 60cm. Just crazy stuff.
Have you guys done this project and if so how high/fast could you get your coaster? |

LOL I made one of those in 9th grade. Some kid and his group made a 3 foot (90cm?) high one. I only got to a foot and a half (45cm?).

A class at my school actually went to Six Flags and did the physics behind the different rides there.

Yeah, my Algebra I class did that in 8th grade at Hershey Park. That was a lot of fun as well.
