thanks, not too long? trying to keep it short but... a hard thing to do and still be useful in a comprehensive way. Well I'm thinking people (most likely guests anyway) will read only the parts they need instead of trying to read the entire thing at once lol unless final is coming up.
----
Physics takes less memorization and more thinking (good for lazy smart people - you have to make what you learn into sense in the real world) while chemistry takes... lots more revision and effort/memorization I think (I only took a little bit of chemistry since my teacher had his house ruined by a hurricane so we just watched steve irwin videos).
Chemistry can make sense in the real world as well but nothing compared to physics since most of the real chemistry happens at atomic level and stuff..

lol that person I was talking about in the 'have you ever' thought she was too, but I taught her chemistry with my random tricks (like we had to learn periodic table and I would come up with the best ways to memorize - example. Sn = short name = tin).
It's true that some people get it immediately and others will never get it but most people just need to see it in the right way. |

since I only learned chem 1 for a month and just watched videos for the rest.. I was in chem 2 and didn't know what a mole was LOL I got a 92 the first semester then dropped it for 2nd semester because not only was I lost, the teacher was insane (2 weeks later he would correct himself - he was the funniest teacher I've had though). Plus it was AP so I knew I was setting myself up for some hardcore stuff when I never learned the basics. |

These are important skills for any science you take (Bio, chem, etc). If you are in a high school science course, this is all essential knowledge.
Great thread, bro. |

awesome thanks, everyone.
I am almost done with the basics though I, for once, don't have a lot of free time since I only have 1 more week of school after this week (filled with projects and quizzes). |
