Alright, I'll start with the bus stop. Left my house around 6:55 to go to my new bus stop, which is twice as far away as my old one. The stupid old hag that lives where our old bus stop used to be complained that we were ruining her property (which we weren't) so now its at the very top of the street. There's a bunch of new freshman there from my neighborhood this year that I didn't know, the people that I did know chatted about summer and stuff like that. The bus finally came 10 minutes later than the card said.
So I get to school (I'm in a different building now. 9th and 10 graders have their own building, 11th and 12 graders have their own building) and had no idea where I was going. There was a list of what letters in the alphabet had which homeroom teacher. There was still like 15 mins before we had to be in homeroom so I just found some people and walked around for awhile. Then the bell rang and I went to my class.
Since it was the first day, we stayed in homeroom for like 2 hours getting papers and stuff. My homeroom teacher used to live in my neighborhood and I'm friends with her son, so that's pretty cool. We had a lame assembly to go to about how important this year is for us, blah blah blah. Then we finally got to go to our normal classes.
These periods are probably gonna look pretty funky for most people, can be confusing sometimes.
Period 1 - Honors Pre-Calc
Pretty small class, only like 20 people in it. The guys severely outnumber the girls, and the girls in there are the snobby ones that all the guys will mess with. Should be fun. Apparently our regular teacher just had a baby so we have a sub for 6 weeks. He seemed pretty nice I guess, kinda weird though.
Period 2 - Honors Chemistry
I have the 2 hardest classes to start off my day...wonderful. I know most people in here. The teacher also seemed kind of weird, but nice. Gonna be doing a bunch of lab experiments this year, so that should be fun.
Period 3 - German III
In German I and II there were two seperate classes since so many people took it. Now there's only 1 class. I know pretty much everyone. Our old German teacher retired, so now we have someone new. She's alright I guess. This year is the trip to Germany so that should be awesome.
Period 4/5 - Psychology
Didn't sign up for this class, got stuck in it. There's only one other Junior in there, the rest are Sophomores. The teacher seemed like a cool guy. After talking to other people who took that class last year, apparently I have the hardest teacher. Great, the hardest teacher for a class I don't even want.
Period 6-7 - Honors Modern American History
History is my favorite subject, and the teacher seemed pretty cool so I think I'm gonna like this class. He went over the rules and stuff then did this magic trick thing. Should be a fun class.
Period 8 - Lunch
Not really much to say here. Lunch is lunch.
Period 9/10 - Independent Living
This class only had like 10 people. All of them except for me were Seniors, so I don't know anyone. The teacher shouts all the time like we can't hear her, gets on my nerves. This class will most likely suck.
Period 11 - Honors English
By far my favorite class. I know pretty much everyone and the teacher is really nice. A lot of people in this class are funny, so it should be a fun class.
That was longer than I thought it would be...hope someone reads through it all
