Hi, I'm Lilly and I'm new here. In biology my class is doing a practical on the effect of exercise on lactic acid in muscle cells. It would be great if a few people could do the exercise below and send me their times. Sorry if this is annoying but I have no one else I can ask really. Thanks in advance!
Requirements: 5 different subjects (people) of different ages.
clock or watch with second hand or stopwatch; pen
Method (for each subject)
1. Raise one arm above your head and keep it in the vertical position.
2. Clench and unclench your fist twice a second for as long as you can. Record the time that you start exercising in the table that follows.
3. Record the feeling in your arm as you exercise.
4. When you can continue no longer, rest your arm on your lap and record the time that you finish.
5. Rest for half an hour and then repeat steps 1 – 4.
