Well we have a write a 5 paragraph essay on Confucianism, Daoism, and Legalism and I don't know how to start it off.
I mean, I have the idea but I'm just baffled on what to write.
For the first paragraph we need to have a Hook, then a Bridge, then a Thesis. The whole point of this essay is to show how ethical systems influenced Chinese government.
I have everything already written so far, but I'm just stuck on the introduction, haha.
So any help on this would be great. |

Throughout classical China there have been many religions set upon by the dynastys. Most of them were accepted by the people but some of then were not very popular. Confucianism was part of the Han dynasty and was accepted greatly, Daoism was accepted during the Qin (pretty sure) and the people followed it for the most part but legalism was created by the Zhou dynasty and was not popular with the people at all. Though the religions were all differnt in the beliefs, gods and acceptance, They all play a very big part in classical chinas history.
Something like that I guess. i think I might of mixed up the Zhou and Qin dynasty with the religions. I hope this helps a little bit. |

Our Honors English teacher won't let us use be verbs, like am, is, are, was, were, be, being, been...So that paragraph would be completely unacceptable for our class. I would, however, consider that a very good thesis statement. |

Post your final draft or rough draft and I am sure you will get some helpful criticism. |
